Formerly a TV writer-producer, Gregory Burkart has been working in the horror genre for nearly two decades. As a journalist, he’s reported for news outlets like Fangoria, FEARnet and Blumhouse.com, where he currently serves as Senior Staff Writer with a twice-weekly column on Creepypasta, Deep Web tales and viral lore. As a musician, he has composed scores for three features and dozens of short films, and writes and performs in the bands HAOSARTA and NIGHT OF THE ZIPPER. Presently, he is developing a web series for Blumhouse, and preparing to launch the weird-news podcast OBSCURA.
