Melissa was born loving Halloween and all things spooky. With a birthday very near Halloween her parents would hold birthday parties decorated for Halloween. By 10 years old Melissa had joined in on the action of what would later be known as Rotten Apple 907 – a must see haunted attraction in the San Fernando Valley. In 2008 she and her husband, Jason, opened up their online store – The Haunt Store – offering budget friendly haunt solutions. In 2016, she launched a new division of the store called Haunted Ladies Co., which offers home décor, apparel, and accessories for those who gets tired of only being able to shop during Halloween.
