The team at Winchester Mystery House returns with a 60-minute presentation on Sunday, July 30, at 3:00 p.m. featuring a look at never-before-opened areas of the house now featured on the new “Explore More Tour,” plus a sneak peek at the wildly popular Hallowe’en Candlelight Tour (expanded for 2017), in addition to a discussion of the highly anticipated paranormal thriller “Winchester,” due in theaters in February 2018. And, of course, like last year, several VERY COOL surprise giveaways and announcements. You never know what might materialize!

Enthusiasts and admirers of the Winchester Mystery House can look forward to hearing from an impressive quartet of individuals on stage during this informative and entertaining presentation, hosted/moderated by Doug Barnes of the popular Season Pass Podcast:

  • Walter MagnusonGeneral Manager of the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California. Among the Bay Area’s premiere attractions, it is a national and state historic landmark and one of America’s most celebrated “haunted houses.” Over the past year the Winchester Mystery House has debuted the “Explore More Tour” (opening areas never-before accessible to the public), a complete remodel of the gift shop now known as The Mercantile, in addition to Sarah’s Attic (a state-of-the-art shooting gallery) and the wildly popular Hallowe’en Candlelight Tour.
  • Tim O’Day: Acting Director of Marketing and Communications at Winchester Mystery House. Over the past few years O’Day and the Winchester Mystery House team have premiered the Skeleton Key Club, successfully launched the “Explore More Tour” and the “Hallowe’en Candlelight Tour” and hosted such popular shows as “Ghost Adventures” and “Ghost Brothers” in addition to handling visiting media for the filming of “Winchester,” a paranormal thriller due in theaters in early 2018.
  • Scott Shooman: Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions for CBS Films.  Shooman has overseen numerous productions including “Seven Psychopaths” and “The Woman in Black,” and has acquired films such as Academy Award® best picture nominee “Hell or High Water,” and Golden Globe Award® best picture nominees “Salmon Fishing in Yemen” and “Inside Llewyn Davis.” Prior to his time at CBS Films, Scott spent a decade at Sony Pictures Entertainment where he began as an assistant at the studio’s Screen Gems division. Shooman graduated from USC’s School of Cinema Television with a bachelor’s degree in Critical Studies in 2000, and in 2013, he received his MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
