Jana Wimer is co-creator and co-director of the long running cult horror hit Urban Death and Urban Death: Tour of Terror at Zombie Joe’s Underground. A lifelong horror fan, Jana started acting in high school and went on to get her degree in Theatre Arts. She acted in the first several incarnations of Urban Death, including a run in New York City. She directed an Urban Death in Cape Town, South Africa, with an all South African cast. Jana also directed several productions with the horror theatrical company The Visceral Company. Her theatrical horror directing credits also include: Attack of the Rotting Corpses, The 10 O’clock People, Fever Dream, Horror-fest, Madness! Murder! Mayhem!, Devil’s Love at Midnight, and Habeas Corpus. She studied puppetry with Muppet artists and also has an extensive background in art and music.
