“PARTY FOR THE RECENTLY DECEASED” Schedule

Saturday, July 27 th , 8pm-Midnight
Long Beach Convention Center 2nd Floor

8pm – Midnight: DJ Dance Party, Bars, Games, Prize Giveaways and Photo Ops
in the Grand Ballroom

8:20pm – 9:45pm : “For Sale by Exorcist” Movie Screening in the Screaming Room (Followed by a discussion with filmmakers)

8:30pm – 11:30pm: “Know Your Handbook: The Game Show for the Recently Deceased” (live show) in the Podcast Lounge.(approximately every 30 minutes)
8:15pm – 11:45pm: LVCRFT “Under the Covers” pre-release album listening party (next to the Grand Ballroom)

$500 Costume Contest:
-Throughout the night, our secret judges will be checking out your costumes all
over the party. If you are selected, they will give you a special wristband.
-If it’s getting late and you fear your costume has not been seen by the judges,
make sure you’re in the Grand Ballroom by 10:30pm. The party hosts will
announce instructions for “Final Looks”.
-If you have been given a finalist wristband, make sure you’re in the Grand
Ballroom no later than 10:50pm to remain eligible to win.
-At approximately 11:00pm, the selected finalists will be brought on stage and a
winner will be selected.
-Eligible finalists must show proof of party admission with their Gold Bat or
separately purchased party wristband.
-The winner receives $500.

Judging based on:
– Originality; Homemade and assembled costumes encouraged
– Masks discouraged

“Party for the Recently Deceased” admission is included with all VIP Gold Bat
wristbands. Otherwise, a separate party wristband purchase is required for admission.

During main event hours, party wristbands can be picked up and purchased at the Midsummer Scream
merchandise booth on the vendor Show Floor.
