Daniel Kountz got his first taste of acting in the third grade, when he played “Tiny Tim” in a school play. Since then as an adult actor, he’s starred alongside Kirsten Dunst in Fifteen and Pregnant and guest-starred on many popular shows including Just Shoot Me, Ghost Whisperer, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Mad Men, and United States of Tara w/Bree Larson.
He’s perhaps best known as the evil warlock “Kal” in Disney’s Halloweentown II where he costarred opposite Kimberly J. Brown and the late Debbie Reynolds. The Halloweentown films have since reached cult status with generations of devoted fans. It’s Daniel’s voice in the video games Lost Planet 3 and L.A Noire; and most recently, he starred in the award-winning short “Triple Time,” and the sitcom “My Crazy Roomate” for Bounce TV.
Fun fact: Brown & Kountz are currently dating.
