Zombie Joe is the handsome yet illusive, gregariously-eccentric leader of the Artaudian-Experimental-Avante-Garde Theatre Family ZOMBIE JOE’S UNDERGROUND THEATRE GROUP, founded in a small industrial garage in Northridge, CA in August 1992 about to celebrate their silver (25th) anniversary! Their ever-evolving, fun n’ freaky horror-theatre-sensation URBAN DEATH was first produced in their current North Hollywood Location (at 4850 Lankershim Blvd.) in July 2005, and its exciting seasonal haunt-variation URBAN DEATH TOUR OF TERROR: HAUNTED THEATRE ATTRACTION for this October 2017 marks its highly-anticipated 5th year. In addition to producing URBAN DEATH, BLOOD ALLEY, BRAVE THE DARK and TORTURED SOULS amongst dozens of experimental, classical, immersive and site-specific original theatrical productions annually, Zombie Joe teaches theatre, poetry and creative writing as a vibrant form of arts therapy/expression at Metro State Hospital in Norwalk, and is secretly deep in love with both Rick and Johanna.
